Sunday, January 8, 2012

Happy Sunday to all!! Today I was checking some food videos on net and i saw a famous Chef cooking this dish and i desired too much to eat it. I dressed up and went to market to get ingredients.
I suppose to be on diet and this is not a siet dish but i cant say that i m regret:)
It was amazing delicious also i can tell it is easy to cook.
This is the one of best dish of Ottoman Kitchen.

Ingredients

1 kg lamb with bones (i used leg)
1/2 lemon
3 tomatoes
1 tb spoon tomato paste
2 tb spoon flour
1 gl of milk
2 tb spoon butter
100 gr grated cheese
Oil
Salt
Black pepper
Red pepper

Put the lamb in a deep bowl, put water and 1/2 lemon juice. It will make the meat soft. Cook it 1 hour. Before you take it out from fire add salt and pepper. If you add salt early, it will make the meat cook late.
Cook flour with butter, add the milk and also 1 glass the boiled water of lamb. This will give the taste to sauce. when it boil , close the heat.
On the other hand with some oil sautee the chopped tomatoes , add tomato paste. Cook for 5 min.

Lay the cooked lamb in a oven tray . Pour the white sauce on it. Add grated cheese and some red pepper. Cook it in a preheated oven for 10 min.
On a service plate lay the tomato sauce , and put the lamb on it.
Serve warm.

Bon appetit..
